4m x 3m Omlet pen, cube, new auto door still boxed and coop light

OH decided to cook the girls up some spaghetti, have had a little pasta a couple of days ago, but never spaghetti.

 

I took the bowl in and called them all - put it down, not much reaction.

 

Then all of a sudden they all went balistic, running around the pen with great mouthfulls of the stuff, chasing each other, they are so funny.

 

One of ours like makes a bok bok bok sound from her chest when she gets excited and she was running around the pen with a mouth full of the stuff bok boking at the top of her voice!!

 

Think they will be wanting some more of that Dad!!

I love the way they brazenly steal it from each other and will do anything to stop each other getting "their" bit .

Wonder what it is about spaghetti that makes them all love it so much? Do you think it's because it looks like worms?

It makes me laugh, they spend so much energy dashing about with it hanging from their beaks, chasing each other, it's amazing they ever get to eat it - they're always stealing it from each others beaks

They are just so funny with it! Mine have had a few attempts at eating worms, but not too sure....bless them!

They have me and OH in stitches as they all chase each other, Florence won't eat it from the bowl, only from one of the others!!

Cooked spaghetti last night...masses so that there would be some left over for the hens...my son and hubby cleaned up the lot...poor chooks...no hentertainment for them today!
