Guest
anyone ever dropped anything behind one of these? The unit ours is sitting in has a shelf at the top where I had a plastic wallet/binder, it's fallen down the back of the fridge/freezer and the only way to get it out is to take the whole fridge/freezer out of the integrated unit. It's floor to almost ceiling so there's no room to even poke anything down the back we can't leave it there can we as it's plastic and the back of a fridge/freezer can be quite hot? I'm in the doghouse! Actually, I think that's a bad design fault as there's no way to get to the plug socket either without removing the whole fridge/freezer! I don't s'pose anyone has any bright ideas?
Cooks
has it fallen right down?? ie could you remove the skirting and retrieve from the bottom??
Guest
has it fallen right down?? ie could you remove the skirting and retrieve from the bottom?? tried that but the bottom shelf which the fridge sits on goes right to the wall so there's no way to get to the back of the fridge without pulling it out if the top shelf went right to the wall as well, we wouldn't be having this problem. They must have left it like that for ventilation
Cooks
hmmm thats tricky! like you say that sounds like a bad design really. I hate to say it but I think it's a pull the fridge out job.

Guest
DH spilt a jar of coffee all over the floor while trying to sort out the fridge, so hoovered it up then i got a packet of crispis from the cupboard but they were already open at one end and they went all over the floor! The bad luck fairy has well and truly paid us a visit this afternoon

chickencam
Your hubby sounds like mine. He goes ape when things like that happen, unless he does them of course and even then it is somehow my fault They like to feel useful really

Tessa the Duchess
Sorry to hear of your kitchen woes Poet We recently had to drag our fridge/freezer out because our new kitten decided to hide behind it when she first arrived. The dirt and dust I found behind it was I really must be a better housewife Tessa
