Isn't it amazing how disproportionately happy an egg can make you!

 

ALthough omlet had suggested about 4-6 weeks before the first egg, I had told myself two months so that I would not get my hopes up.

 

After three weeks, BB has just laid the most perfect brown egg and it is much bigger than I was expecting. Must go and a have a cup of tea to calm down. (Can't eat it yet, youngest daughter is at a sleepover and would never forgive me!)
