Second Cube!

Recommended Posts

I just got off the phone to Omlet after they phoned to say they have a recon PURPLE cube for me!!!

The anti chicken first broached the idea and was going to phone them to chase it up but they called me - she doesn't even know yet! And she's paying!!!!

Oh where to put it????

The handyman started the next extension to the chicken run today - its going along behind the compost corner and then incorporating the old greenhouse - we ordered a lovely new greenhouse Saturday.

At last PURPLE

I think my next call had better be to order some more girls!!!!!!!!

Great news Pengy - does your credit card have fatigue?

It's not too bad. Mum has spent some serious money in the last couple of weeks, paid for a couple of cruises, a new greenhouse and ordered a wooden playhouse for James' birthday too.

She can't take it with her when she goes - I'll just make some more to keep me in luxury in my old age!

too true! If she enjoys spending it and lavishing it on others - then good for her.

I would be like that if I had loads of money (which I dont). I enjoy spending my money on others :D ...which is probably why I dont have any!!

congrats on the cube.

I'm happy to see her spending it really. My Dad worked hard and saved for most of his life - in retirement he was still frugal and didn't buy lots of the things he wanted, that money had to last him and my Mum (who was younger than him) through a long retirement - he was very healthy for a man in his 70's. Then he got sick, it was lung cancer and by the time they found it he was past treating.

I always told him he should spend his money as I would only buy the Jag he always wanted. Weell I havn't bought the Jag but I still threaten Mum with the same - she had a good sum of her own as well as Dad's money.

Mind you as I type this I'm watching Panorama and hearing about the credit crunch - and how its affecting property. My nest egg is going to decrease in the immediate future but I will try and buy another investment property when the market bottoms out.
