Lesley
Yes, we do. I can't remember which mincer we use - but it is fairly heavy duty. You'll find lots of info. on the River Cottage forum.

Lesley
- can you still buy 'penny sweets' ? - you could have 4 of those! The mincer does look good though - and a good price I think.
chickencam
We have had a go at making sausages using the instructions in Hugh's Family cookbook. It was great fun, but hard to get the texture and seasoning right. We just used an old style mincer that suckers to the worksurface, we use it for mincing beef for burgers too, then use our Lakeland burger maker
pbfhpunk
I used a magic mixer or something I was given last week to get castor sugar from regular sugar and while looking through the instructions it says it can make sausaemeat so that's excellent to know for the scoth eggs of which I have to make 24 for my mum's birthday party!
