Martin B
Hia, has anyboy ever put a webcam inside their eglu. I would love to have on inside mine, one of the wireless ones and attatch it to the inside somehow. Would the chooks peck it and is it dangerous for them? Any info greatly appreciated. ---Martin---
Chicken on a mission
Hubby thought about doing this decided against it as it would mean putting holes in the eglu and trying to protect it from the chooks would be easier said than done. He decided to stick ChickenCam over-looking the eglu instead which is how we discovered that one of our cats takes his afternoon nap inside the eglu
Swiss Chick
You dont want to play chicken brother with your poor chooks Martin Of cours it is dangerous for them. Ever heard of fried chickens. There are wires involved and electriciy. Would you like to be spied on day and night
Martin B
There are no wires they are wireless. In the argos catalogue at £30, they have a radar thing.
red
We can set up our home camera on the hens and monitor them from our desk at work but I agree it would be nice to see them sitting in the eglu laying their eggs
Swiss Chick
30 £ wouldn't you buy something more interesting for that amount of money. The chooks don't do much inside the house than sleeping and laying eggs If you are interested in modern technology why not some spying glasses infra red to see in the dark
Martin B
Sorry it's £30 for TWO, I need a new one anyway because the one on my desk is bust!
myles
Hi... I have looked at putting my webcam in with the chooks. I am still trying to find a way of getting the webcam to upload moving or still images using FTP. I have a page ready and waiting to run the image. When I find a way, it will be uploaded to my own site. Myles
