I'm soo happy and excited because we are getting around 8 battery hens!!! I have done this before with my old chooks but they were eaten by the fox this is because our coop can hold around 16-18 chookies, and I love to think that I'm giving them a great home I wish there was no such thing as battery hens, as in that they didnt live in enclosed areas and forced to lay, then killed for dog meat because they lay an egg every 2 days. I would be greatful if i owned that chooky . I want to try and load some pictures of the new arrivels on to the discussion when they come, but I dont have a website to put them on to transfer to here. never mind!

 

I'm really glad that sooo many people are into rehoming battery hens! Well done everyone, lets all keep up the good work!
