Tina C
Bought the girl a lovely pair of white linen-mix shorts - she wore them to a sleepover and - you have guessed it - spilt nail varnish on them. I was not expecting 12 (yes 12 for a sleepover) 7 years olds to be let loose with the nail varnish... Annoyingly she managed to get green nail varnish on white shorts and white nail varnish on a green t-shirt Anyone know of a miracle cure? BarbaraJ
not really sorry only stain devils if they do one for nail varnish. maybe try nail varnish remover if desperate?
lizinsa
Since the shorts are white I would try nail polish remover, and as soon as you get the stain out bung them in the wash so it does as little damage to the fabric as possible. As for the t-shirt I'm not so sure I'm afraid because you don't want to remove the dye. Not sure why the girls couldn't have children's polish, it's great as it peels off nails and clothes! Good Luck!
ajm200
Don't use nail varnish remover on man made fibres as acetone melts some fabrics
abwsco
The stain devils one is fantastic. When my DD'd were younger they got hold of a bright red nail varnish of mine and got it all over my best duvet cover. It got it off!!
woolpack
I used to get those little sew-on motifs for my daughter's damaged clothing. They don't cost much on the market and can look quite cute, too.
Tina C
Thank you for your replies - I will give the stain devil a try (if its not too pricey) and I like the idea of sew on motifs as well - that might work if nothing else does.
