And although they read the same size on the base, they are all so different in width and length!!!!

I know, I find that too. It's to do with the cooling process I think and varies the most with caymans and beach models as these are the ones made the most widely and I seem to remember they make them in:

 

Mexico

USA

Romania

China

Italy

Canada

 

and perhaps a few other places though.

Yes, we had a chat about this last year (and Richard will be after us again - mind you, it does say 'Crocs' in the title so he shouls be staying away )

 

I had a pink pair which are much smaller than my others and I took them back. It is due to the cooling process - and they were genuine Crocs.....I'd had my doubts!

 

I've just bought a whole load of mock Crocs to use as slip-ons in one of our outbuildings and the quality of the copies seems to be improving. They weren't bad, although i haven't walked far in them.........

I had a green pair, made in Romania that were too small....the were about a centimetre shorter than my others.

 

Made in China or Colorado suit me best.

It's starange the difference in them isn't it? My YS has some mock crocks that are really comfy, and some real ones that are made in Italy that are really hard and not as flexible he has hardly worn the real ones because of this and now they are nearly too small

I am so glad that it is not just me then I brought my second pair this year and they are defiantly a different fit from my originals I could not work it out

I tend to prefer wearing Romanian caymans as they're a bit bigger than my navy ones. I also have a pair of athens and Mary Janes, which fit me well and they were made in China.

 

I should be getting a pair of crocs Nile soon!

I found this when I tried mine on. I went for the ones made in Italy, as the other ones didn't fit .... Crazy really that they can't coordinate it or put on some kind of warning about different sizes, I wouldn't dare buy them off the internet as they might not fit.

On some sites they do now put warnings on them about the size differences. It to do with the cooling process, as everywhere has the same moulds.
