Guest
I went to get the children from school and nursery today, only to witness 2 mothers fighting outside the nursery door. And I mean proper fighting - hair pulling, punching - the kind of stuff I had to deal with in the pubs, but would never have imagined dealing with it outside a nursery door. Luckily it was before the door had been opened so the children were all still inside, unaware of the drama outside. I knew the area we live in isn't exactly the nicest in the world, but I thought the people were a bit classier than this. The worst bit of it was, after the police arrived, they told me I should have left them to fight, as if I had caused them any injuries while breaking them up, I could have been sued....... Nicola H
Nothing like a good cat fight to brighten your day............ It does make you wonder what on earth they were thinking of it is such a good job the children didn't see anything........You are very brave splitting them up glad you didn't get thumped............ Popcorn
What great role models - and just in the right place too to pass on these great parenting skills to a whole nursey full of children ......oh dear Shona....did you say anything to them? Guest
Was just getting set into a massive rant about adult behaviour when the police arrived, who took up where I left off, so I got Caity and ran! Really, how can we expect their children to behave when this is the example being set?!
melcotton
I totally agree with you but sounds like you left at the right time before any punches were directed at you! Mel

buffie
How 'not to be a good parent' imagine what the children will be like It is quite sad though don't you think? BBx
Paola
Am shocked! Good job the kids did not see anything. I know if my daughter (3.5) saw anything like that going on outside her nursery she would be very upset. Well done for stepping in. Am sure I would of just stood there in a state of shock
