MedusA
I was going to exactly the same as ANH! Good luck with both your offers. I'm sure the "right" house will be the one you get!
little chickadee
When we moved 2 years ago, the house we really really wanted fell through and it felt like it was the end of the world, but we're soo so happy it fell through now as we wouldn't be where we are now (incredibly happy here). Good luck with wherever you move to.
Cooks
oh sorry about the first one, house buying is never simple is it. Our buyers pulled out of our last house when we had found this, in between Christmas and New Year. We thought all hope was lost as the guy that owned this place wouldn't wait as he was worried about losing the place he'd seen (cant blame him) But we found a new buyer (had to drop a couple of thousand) but hey it secured this house and since then we have re-shaped it into a lovely family home. So things happen for a reason, hold on in there you will get your lovely family home soon
Olly
I really agree with all the other comments on here - shame you didn't get it, but that generally means that there's actually something better around the corner. The Charnwood Avenue one looks lovely, and Sutton Bonington is a great little village. Fingers crossed for you on this one!
Lesley
I agree as well - I hope all goes well with this one.
MadMitch
Sorry you didn't get the house you wanted, was it the house you really liked or the area? I noticed on the website for the house earlier today there were two other ones in the same place. A nice victorian one and a bungalow which had four and a half acres, plus it was alot less money. The bungalow didn't have much going for it to look at but the land is good. We bought one similar a few years back for about 200k then built on and upwards so we ended up with a very large 4 bed 3 bathroom house, cost us another 130k but we sold it in November for 630k which enabled us to make the move we wanted here. Guess what I'm geting round to is if you like the area and want the acres then the bungalow would be a good option. You can always change the house. Edited 19:40 ..........So much for me trying to sell you on the bungalow Just been back on the site and the bungalow has now gone, must have been sold today or just removed. Sorry about that. hils78
Great minds must think alike Madmitch - we have actually viewed that one. It was even worse in the flesh than on the pictures, and right on a really really busy road. Keep looking for me
