If I trap slugs in something like the Slug-X, which uses beer, is it OK to then feed the captives to the hens or not?

 

I'm not talking the laws of karma here , but the only slugs mine have had so far have been very much alive and sober (and found guilty of guzzling lettuces meant for chickens!). Can you feed them/will they eat drunk and probably dead slugs?

Erm, personally I wouldn't feed them to the girls.

Maybe you could slug pick as well as poo pick on your daily hen keeping job.

No don't think I'd would give girls them either.

 

If they free range you shouldn't have too much of a slug problem.

The slugs dont drink the beer-they drown in it.
