Chickvic
Wee tip Pam always put him into the carrier backwards tried that - just got left with the bitey, clawy, disgruntled end still out of the carrier trying to kill me as I pushed him into the carrier We actually stand our cat carrier on it's end and 'drop' them into it! Best way for them! Glad the news was better than expected!

The Dogmother
I did the same with one of my cats Chickvic. Biscuit just walks into it.

Omletina Kyckling
it's just getting my head round the thought that I have actively made the decision to shorten his life Hi Pam, Sorry I've only just caught up with this. I just wanted to say that reading your posts and how much you obviously love Jack I'd hate to think that you think the above. That isn't what comes over to me, you want him to have a good quality life for what he has left. You've actively made the decision to give him a better life, rather than a shorter one in my mind. I'm glad his results were better today, and my two furry boys are sending lots of purry hugs to him. They agree with him about the going into the carriers thing though. I've ended up with two big dog type carriers now as they don't like to travel and Ludwig in particular likes to decorate his cat carrier during the journey, so the bigger the better so he's not sliding in it!! The vets look at me like I'm delusional when I drag these huge boxes in each year for the vaccinations and a cat appears from each one. I think they are expecting a great dane or something to come out!! Diane
chickencam
Ziggy has a tendancy to decorate her pet carrier too, fortunately the vets is only down the road. When we first collected them from the Cats Protection we had a 10 mile journey home and the smell in a wicker basket too. She is a very quiet cat only the odd squeak until you put her in a barket then she howls Hope Jack is feeling better today.
