Hello eglu owners!

I need help!

I have 2 chickens and unfortunately, I have to leave the country quite suddenly and even though I'm taking my eglu, I cannot take the birds with me as you are not allowed to take them out of the country....

Therefore I need to find a good new home for them asap! Really in the next few days....I hope someone here can help!

They are Ginger Nut Rangers and I've had them since I got my eglu last year April!They're laying great eggs and are great and funny chickens!

 

Please help if you can and give my two ladies a new home! I'm located in North London.

Hi Olga,

 

I am in a position to help you, and I live in South London so no problems getting too you or you too me.

 

BUT......

 

I am on holiday next week and therefore the earliest I could have them is Sat 12 July.

 

As you can see from my sig, I have 2 ex batts rattling around in a pink cube. So I have been looking to expand my chooks to 4 for a while.

hi! hmmm, sounds great but really i need to re-home them this weekend as i'm leaving wednesday! is there no way of i could bring them down to you before you leave on holidays...?

Hi Olga,

 

I regret that I can not have your chooks before I go on holiday because whilst my DD will be looking after our girls while we are on holiday, I would want a couple of days at home over a weekend to supervise any new chooks to make sure they were fully catered for. It would not be fair to expect my DD to cope with keeping 2 sets of chooks seperate and to deal with any problems that may arise.

 

It is a great responsibility to take on extra chooks and would need a lot of preperation by me and my OH to ensure that nothing went wrong.
