JamesH
Oh what breeds you hatching syed? You have to let them dry out and become fluffy, about 12 hours. Then you can put them a bit of chick crumb and shallow water. Leave them a few hours and one of them might work out how to drink and the others will follow. You can dip their beak in the water to teach them also. Where are you going to keep them until they are bigger?

Gallina
Is there a hen sitting on the eggs, or are they in an incubator? Make sure you buy some chick crumbs soon if you don't have them already. I have been told to wait 24 hours before feeding mine (if they hatch). Are the beaks peeping through?
Christian
I would get down to the library and get a couple of books syed. In the meantime - http://club.omlet.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=11473
Mrs Frugal
There is a wealth of information on hatching and looking after chicks if you do a Google. http://www.poultryclub.org/ACHatch.htm for example. If you can't get to a library, you've got so much information at the click of a mouse if you look.
Sheilaz
...and remember the bit about the water being shallow with perhaps marbles in it as chicks can drown in even just a small open dish.

Mrs Frugal
Might be better to get the book before they hatch so you know what to do when they do emerge .
Egluntyne
I agree...always best to do your research in advance so that you can make any necessary purchases/preparations and not have a last minute panic.
