Mumpty
I am very confused about what sort of accomodation to get for my girls in September. I like the cube, although I haven't seen one up close and also they're a bit costly. Can anyone confirm whether they are a good idea or should I just have a wooden structure ? Electricbarbarella
well granted I only got mine on friday and my girls on Sat but I think it is the best thing in the whole world ever.
Egluntyne
Cubes are warm in winter, cool in summer, maintenance free, they are very easy to clean, even more so now that they come with plastic roosting bars, plus there is nowhere for the dreaded red mite to hide. Also..... they are fox resistant. All boxes ticked.
Cinnamon
The cube is fantastic & MUCH less maintenence than a wooden coop. Do check out the 'visit an Eglu owner' page & look at the Cube list,so you can see one 'in the flesh' I am near Henley - I am sure there will be someone nearer! WitchHazel
Hi, whereabouts in Surrey are you? I live between Egham and Windsor if you'd like to visit. i have a Cube (and an eglu too at the moment as I have some babies that need separate accomodation for now). alison
I too, have only had my cube a few days, but it is BRILLIANT! i considered all sorts of wooden ones as I really prefer natural materials, but the maintenance aspect was a bit daunting. The cube can just be jet washed! Get a cube!
