chickens in the run? I can't let them out yet as I haven't had them long enough but I need to rake out the run and move it.

 

Is there an easy way to do this?

you could always pop the girls into a cat carrier or similar, how long have you had them?

I am constantly moving it with them inside - with the eglu I just drag it with run end no more than 5-10 cm off the ground the hens just walk with it no problems. For cleaning out the run I just pick up the end of the run and move by 90o, with the eglu staying on the same patch and move back when finished.
