The first couple of days that the girls were here the run needed a full rake out in the evening, there was so much po, last night there didn't seem to be very much poo, I didn't bother raking the run out and it looked fine (and didn't smell) Is it normal for the amount of poo to reduce as they settle in?

Not sure about the amount reducing, but they are probably just producing more solid poo which doesn't smell so bad .

I think that they are saving it up for when you are having dinner on the patio

I think it does - as they settle in the poo solidifies a bit, and they save it up for night-time - certainly has been my experience!

When mine arrived from Omlet, the poo for the 1st two weeks was amazing (lots of it and a bit squitty) and I did wonder what I had let myself in for. But it settled down. They do still produce huge amounts of poo, but it did noticeably improve for my lot once they had settled in - new surroundings, new pellets, grass etc etc.
