debbie
Hi all Ive started to harvest my broad beans, I've frozen some already but I'm stuck for ideas with recipes, I've only used them in risotto before. So can anyone help with ideas.......... can you use them raw? in salads, etc. I was thinking they might be nice with tomatos and courqettes in a sort of stir fry Many thanks
Snowy
I've grown and cooked them for the first time this year as well! I found them delicious chucked in with the new potatoes and served with a bit of butter Your other ideas sound fine as well!

kannie
...... can you use them raw? in salads, etc. Yes you can! preferably quite small young ones, and ideally you should skin them too. Great with hardboiled eggs in the salad too, and maybe some anchovies!
Egluntyne
They are divine de-jacketed and dished up in a potato salad.
