What cleaning substance, if any, do you use to clean your eglu?

Washing up liquid and hot water-plus a watering can to rinse.I just leave it out in sun for couple hours afterwards so the UV rays sterilise it.

Wshing up liquid for me too - and I have also used liquid kitchen cleanser - 'flash'.

Mostly just a hose and a good rub with the rubbery side of my garden gloves.

 

I suppose I could use some washing up liquid on it one day.

Ecover washing up liquid, Method lavender spay, tea tree oil in the bucket of hot water. I dust the roosting bars and nest area with diatom, red mite powder, stalosan and bokashi when dry; helps the poos fall off easily.

Just water and an old washing up brush most of the time - I then chuck the mucky water around the beans. Sometimes I add a little tea tree oil as I like the smell and sometimes I use ecover, if its particularly grubby.

I just scrub mine down with a bucket of hot water, then leave out in the sun (if there is any!!!) to dry.

Washing up liquid and then once dry I spray the whole lot with a pet disinfectant.

I use washing up liquid and a swoosh of white vinegar with really hot water, then wipe everything over with Poultry Shield (I don't wash it in PS as the concentration is fairly high - I use 10ml in 1 litre and wipe it over everything). Then if it's bubbly I rinse with clean water.
