Guns511
im getting some chickens soon once me and my family sort the garden out and i was just wondering if we would be able to put the eglu cube on the out side of a wooden run and then they could go out of the cube and into the wooden run without being attacked by fox's Also Would a wooden run with the measurements of "12 ft x 6 ft x 6 ft" be big enought and how many chickens would we be able to fit in there with the eglu cube? Egluntyne
Hello and welcome to the forum. Several have done exactly as you suggest, with the cube flush with the run, ladder on the inside. Have a browse around the forum and you will find some pictures. So long as the cube and the run are securely fastened together, there shouldn't be a fox problem. The run dimensions sound generous, but you don't say how many chickens you intend to get.
