westhamunited
We've just got back from holiday and found that one of our chickens (peggy) was unfortunatelly taken by a fox.. this means that we are now left with one chicken who is about a year old. We wanted to get her some company and are thinking about getting 2 bantoms. Is this the right thing to do and if so how would we go about doing it? Or should we consider getting 1 or 2 younger chickens to introduce instead? Many thanks We are keen to do something asap!
Egluntyne
Hello and welcome to the forum. Have a look at **this article** from the FAQ section on managing intros.. Opinions differ on the subject of mixing bantams and hybrids.
