Angels4
Arrived Thursday and everything is going smooth. Compared to the box they shipped in the Eglu run is a palace.

Angels4
Can you tell whos who???troy I can... Thier personalities are already so pronounced: This is Clairee (a bit older than the others) I am getting colored leg bands so the nephews can tell them apart, but they just call them "the chickens." Actually they are Gingernut Rangers (friendly and tame) but they haven't let me pet them or have a cuddle YET! I can't wait until I'm able to let the free range. Sorry I should have placed this in my previous post about personalities...Maybe this thread can be locked and moved by one of the kind moderators. Snowy
They are pretty girls! And gingernuts are so very friendly - you will notice a real difference once they come into lay! They will be chasing you for cuddles
Troy
Are'nt Gingernuts, Warrens and Goldlines the same thing??? I think every supplier gives the same bird a different name. ( If they're red with cream feathering) Not that it matters! They really are sweet natured!
Angels4
I think you are right, I don't have much experience with breeds, I just went with Omlet girls. I think are a hybrid of Rhode Island Red and a Light Sussex.

cathychic
Your names are great. Watched Steel Magnolias last night! I have two Goldlines who look very much the same. One of them, Matilda, is so friendly she will sit on my lap for ages and go to sleep. It did take a couple of months though. The other three are not so happy about being picked up. But I dont think I could cope with 4 vying for my attention anyway so probably good job it is only one.
