ali-s
Treated myself to the Johnsons Holiday Skin lotion today. After having a bath and defuzzing my legs I applied a dollop of the lotion. Flipping heck my leg was burning after a few seconds . I had to sit on the edge of the bath for 10 minutes with the shower set on cold to relieve the pain Now I have a lily white but beautifully smooth right leg and an itchy, burning, lily white left leg. Maybe I should have done a test patch first Not applied it straight after shaving How does the saying go....... Beauty is pain

kannie
I've been using the Johnsons one for a couple of weeks - not sure that its had much effect though. Certainly a good moisturiser, but subtle in terms of colouring (or maybe I just forget how very white I was!)
Laura007
i have bought myself some of the dove summer glow today, i have really really pale skin so even to appear slightly off white would be a novelty. i did a skin testing at the boots evaluation suite a few years ago and they told me and i quote "well, you have paler than the average pale person skin!" kannie
Actually my legs do look a bit brown now, in some lights. There's definately a difference but its quite subtle and its taken quite a few applications!
buffie
Well I've used the dove one and applied it yesterday morning and last night after my shower (not too pleased it is made by unilever ) but used an organic self tan on my face as I don't want the chemicals to undo the good I've achieved with ren products! Anyway I have a lovely glow and I used normal to dark (no point in going in too tentatively) . I will use again today and then use every couple of days or so. Cinnamon
I played it safe too Paola, but then again I am pale & normal. I have just bought the darker one for when I have more of a tan,as its still on special offer I am using the lighter shade of the Olay one too,& it gives a really nice colour, but they all take a while to build up.
