cam1
Hi thanks for the messages they have got names now- goldline is Mya, the amber lee is Velma (scooby doo)! No pics as yet as it has rained all day apart from the very short break with no rain. We put them in the eglu and left them in for an hour as suggested, when we brought them. Then let them out. The goldline was much braver and came out into the run (covered as suggested on here with a shower curtain- it worked well) the amber lee was not coming out she is a bit younger i think, was getting a bit worried as she had not eaten/drunk therefore we persauded her out gently through the egg port and has since settled in. They both have gone in to roost and my 7 yr old wanted to stroke them so the OH has picked both up through the egg port. OH has kept disappearing....keep finding him out with the hens!!! Hope the weather is better 2morrow... but i am at work til 4 pm.. so am going to leave the OH in charge! Cam

ClaireG
Have fun Cam. My 3 girls are from Cotswolds Chickens and my amber lee seems to be younger than my goldline and black star.

Marshy
Hi Cam I've had my Lohmans a couple of weeks now and they are already showing their characters, as soon as I pick their treat bowl up they come running to the door ! They both take treats from my hand ( tinned sweetcorn is their favorite) Come bed time, if they are free ranging they come to the door and make lovely cooing noises. Hope you enjoy yours as much.
