Tina C
Why were you in separate rooms???? Yes Phonix you're right, the team were great. I was just so pleased and excited for Nicole - its the culimination of years of hard work and she did everything just right. Fingers crossed for the rest of the cycling events now. Seagazer
My other half was so excited and then a bit teary - bless. He used to be British Junior cycle champion way back when so he always keeps an eye on the cycling.

ubereglu
You'll just have to keep up to date with the BBC website then Kate! We've also won another gold and a bronze in the 400m women's freestyle!

Egluntyne
Well done Rebecca Adlington, who comes from just up the road in Mansfield, and Joanne Jackson. Rebecca's parents weren't there as they were scammed when buying Olympic tickets and are a couple of grand out of pocket. A gold medal for their daughter will make up for it I'm sure. Ain't Nobody Here
Have you ever seen anyone quite so happy as those girls winning their medals ? They'll have had sore faces by the next day . Fantastic achievement . I hadn't heard about the ticket scam - how awful for them .
