dancing cloud
Weather's miserable, so I thought I'd share some nice news As most of you know, I've had my ex-batts three months now and, whilst they really enjoy a lot of interaction and a bit of a stroke now and then (except Dandelion, who squawks and runs away if you touch her), none of them are particularly cuddly. Every night for the last week Daisy, my boss-hen, has joined me on my chicken-watching bench and walked onto my knee for a cuddle before bedtime . The first time she did it, I was stunned as none of them has done this before, and just assumed it was a one-off "cuddle-me" moment. Next night, she did exactly the same thing, and every night since. She doesn't stay for very long, just a few minutes, but has a nice cuddle and then goes straight to bed once she's hopped off my knee - aaww, bless Just shows, you think you know them and they find whole new (lovely) ways to surprise you

Janey4
Aww that is so sweet!! Would love mine to do that one day!! I went and sat in the run with them last night while I read a magazine and they all came pottering round me seeing what I was doing, which is lovely after just 3 days.
