Tigerlily
I just want to thank everyone on here because if I hadn't joined this forum and read so much, I could have lost my Rosie She had an egg stuck I got home from work and let the girls out. I knew she wasn't right straight away - her tail was down, she was walking funny, kept closing her eyes and looked miserable. She hadn't laid either Because of this forum, I guessed it could be a stuck egg or a softy. I steamed her vent and bathed her botty in warm water... I made plans to get her to the vet if I needed to... However, she laid a normal egg later that night. This morning she came bounding out of the eglu, all happy and her old perky little self we were so relieved! It was so worrying seeing her like that but we are so glad she's ok. Mr TL has asthma and was getting wheezy as he was so upset and concerned. She certainly is better now as she had a right go at Gnasher (my cat) earlier she flapped her wings and went to peck him as if to say: "I'm the boss, don't mess with me!" So a big thank you to you all! This forum is wonderful
