It's fascinating - and a bit scary. I am very smug about the amount of stuff I recycle ... but there's still quite a bit that goes in the bin. I don't think I could do what she did!

It did make me more determined to buy some of those Onya bags mentioned on here a while ago, though - so I can get my fruit and veg without resorting to plastic.

I think it's shame she didn't appear to take it as seriously as she could have done............couldn't be bothered to make biscuits......had to buy carton apple juice........didn't always use cloth nappies.........

It was only a month and she could have made more of an effort :?

I'm trying very hard to use less plastic/cling film/kitchen roll - if i was paid to write about it I might try harder

I use the Onya Weigh when I go to the supermarket and I have bought some of the lakeland alternatives (which are nowhere near as nice) for home. I use them for storing vegetables if necessary and for freezing bread rolls etc. With the wrap n mats I don't need cling film but I do use plastic boxes for storing things in the fridge.

I am disappointed that the farm I get my Raw Milk from uses plastic bottles, but I recycle them at least.

One step at a time though and I'm doing so much better than a couple of years ago.
