It has rained pretty much constantly for the last 48 hours and we have not had a rain free day for ages

 

My DS got soaked to the skin waiting for the school bus yesterday afternoon on his first day back. I have never seen anyone so wet, we spent tthe whole evening drying out his clothes and school books. He took his coat off in the kitchen and a lake formed around him ED who gets the same bus from the girls school just missed the rain, she said the buses had to drive really slowly because they couldn't see through the rain it was so heavy, which of course made them even later to the boys school

It's horrid here.

Really really cold, wet, windy, wintery, dark.

Just phoned my dad to get my SAD lightbox back from his house tonight. I think that's why I am feeling lethargic, bored, miserable & I'm not sure which jobs around the house to do first & end up not doing any of them. I have a load of school & work shirts to iron & a bathroom that's crying out to be cleaned *sigh*

It has not stopped raining here all day the girls are fed up and so am i but at least i,m dry they are soooo wet. Put tarpauling over the run yesterday but that doesnt seem to help as running down the bars. Ran out to check them alittle while ago and the water has run into the cube aaaahhhh!!!!
