Leicester_H
Hi My 2 seem perfectly healthy in them selves - still run around garden and kill for corn. But they are laying less eggs (and occasionally soft) and Chikkie is a bit bald underneath. I don't want to give them unnecesary chemicals. I have examined droppings carefully for worms as I have washed them off the patio and seen no signs - are worms obvious ? - what should Ilook for ?? Thanks in advance, H
Egluntyne
Some are very obvious....some are minute and can only be seen under a microscope. If you aren't keen on chemicals, why not add ACV to their water and diatom to their feed. It will help.

Leicester_H
If you aren't keen on chemicals I'm not keen on unnecessary chemicals - hence I haven't wormed routinely - maybe I should have. If worms are a possibility, I'd like to sort it - from what I've read on here the most reliable treatment is Flubenvet - does anyone disagree ? Scottie
Having wormed all the girls last week with Flubenvet, one chicken who hadn't laid any eggs for weeks on end has come back into lay. Certainly worth doing! Sheila
