Having bought some gorgeous lace up boots from Kiwi Sheepskins last year which kept my feet toasty and warm (no socks to be worn with them) even in temps of -5 in Krakow last year thought I'd treat myself to some slippers from them this year but the styles are a bit grannyish. Does anyone have any in a "younger" style? Ta

I guess it depends what you mean by a younger style.

 

Both of these guys do nice slippers but I think all sheepskin slippers look like they should belong to your granny!

I know what you mean about sheepskin slippers looking like something your Granny should wear, but they're so warm and comfy, and I tend to think of slippers as being practical and functional, rather than fashionable.

Unsuprisingly sheepskin products are very popular over here, something to do with the sheep poplution exceeding the human population 10x over

Oooh, I never had these beauties off my feet last winter and even wore them in deep snow and as I said my feet were soooooooo warm with no socks on.

Ive got 2 pairs of uggs though so don't know if I can justify another pair of boots like them but these are TOTALLY different!

Celtic Sheepskin (links in previous posts) do some non grannyish moccassins, both hard and soft soled. I love mine.

Ooh was mighty tempted by the purple ones and they even did them in my HUGE size 10. Don't think I can justify 50 Euros for them though - roll on Christmas!

Well I want some Ambler crocs boots!!!! I love knee length boots, but have wide muscley (spelling??) calves. I often have to buy boots from Evans as they always zip up.

 

I'm loving those purple sheepskin slippers, ideal - as I get awful chilblains in Winter. Well I will live in the mountains in Austria & go trampolining on the trampoline covered in ice, with just socks on.

 

I had mammoths crocs last year, but I don't like them!

Well I want some Ambler crocs boots!!!! I love knee length boots, but have wide muscley (spelling??) calves. I often have to buy boots from Evans as they always zip up.

 

I'm loving those purple sheepskin slippers, ideal - as I get awful chilblains in Winter. Well I will live in the mountains in Austria & go trampolining on the trampoline covered in ice, with just socks on.

Emma, the boots I got from Kiwi Sheepskin would be ideal for you then as you can fasten up the laces as tight or as loose as you want. Service was fantastic as well. I can't recommend them enough.

 

I'm going to order myself some of the purple slippers as I got some tax back yesterday due to the change in tax code. At least it will buy me some slippers -lol

The Amblers are mens boots & start at a 7, but the Nadias are ladies, & although they are longer length,they are wide on the leg.

I go to Evans for boots too, & the Nadias fitted me on the leg

 

However,I didn't actually keep them as I preferred my Mammoths

Well, have ordered my slippers from Celtic but gone for the Whiskey option in the end. Eldest daughter told me the purple made them look more like granny shoes
