Has anyone got great photos of a hen rescue?

Recommended Posts

I'm planning to make a poster showing a group of ex-bats as a display aid and starting point for conversations.

As the poster will be big, I find the photos I took myself aren't really of a high enough resolution. There are some good ones on line but I need a higher quality. The file needs to be at least 2-3mb, ideally more to be enlarged sufficiently.

If anyone has any I could use I'd be really grateful. If there aren't any ex-bat photos, then a good strong image of any lovely hens (ideally a group) would help!

Thanks! I have emailed Phil direct, as I met him at a rescue too Helen!

You before picture is good Janty, but when I take it into photoshop and check how it'd blow up, I think the chook herself would only be about 10cm tall before the resolution got too pixelated. Do you have a higher resolution copy or was that the whole original you posted?

I'm beginning to think I'll have to do some sort of collage, moving from before to after, although I'd prefer one big striking image. People will be a metre away from the poster, so things need to be sizeable.

If anyone has any more I'm still searching!

I have two main needs: firstly I think the camera must be set on its highest picture quality, rather than just snapshot quality (like mine was), and secondly the image needs to be taken fairly close in to the chickens. What are yours like Helen?
