daisymay
I've already got 25m of the omlet netting that is set up at the end of my gaden as a permanent daytime run for my 8 cheeky girls. They have also been roaming out in the day most days of the week but this week have discovered that they can actually go all the way through the hedges into my neighbours gardens. Was amusing yesterday when they heard me coming and all ran up in next doors garden trying to get to me. Today though my neighbour was home, and although amused she shoo'd them back in. I thought about blocking the holes but my cat goes through the bushes and I don't want to restrict him. I don't want to have to move the omlet netting as it is in a perfect position, and fiddly to move as it's wound in and out of trees etc. Just wondered if anyone has any advice or suggestions about an alternative, yet cheaper produc for a section in the rest of/part of the garden to stop them visiting people....! thanks Edited September 19, 2008 by Guest
Scottie
We have the Omlet netting as a permanent feature for when I'm at home, but found that a few of the girls could easily get over it. We bought some strawberry netting (cheap out of the garden centre) and draped it over the Omlet netting and poles to give a roof to the whole thing. They haven't escaped since and that was about 3 months ago. Sheila Our older girls who died earlier this year, used to regularly visit next door's garden - which had been empty for years. However, new folk have now moved in and they have a hot tub in the back garden - I don't think they would welcome "visitors" to it!
quickcluck
We use the strawberry netting stuff too and it's fine! Get it a try
