Ain't Nobody Here
I have a glimmer of a memory of someone doing something nice with nuts - toasting and covering in something tasty? - and putting in jars for Christmas presents? I'm probably hallucinating .

I'm probably hallucinating . Mmmm, pretty vague me thinks . However, I think you're both right, some sort of coated brazils would probably be delish, I'll have to search my 70+ cookery books! I'm probably hallucinating . No, you aren't going mad ANH (well no more than usual ) It was me. I can't find the original post, but have found the entry on my blog instead. Put some oil in a shallow dish, add a teaspoon of cumin and a teaspoon of chilli powder, mix in the nuts and roast on a low heat for 30 mins. Cool and then pack into jars for pressies! http://christianshens.blogspot.com/2007/12/when-will-rain-stop.html
Ain't Nobody Here
Oi, cheeky devil . See, I wasn't making it up . Funny the things you remember, why can't I ever remember what I went upstairs for .
redhotchick
Cafe Union Nuts. It's a Nigella recipe and involves warming some nuts with sugar, salt, garlic, rosemary and Cayenne Pepper. Google it for the recipe. I particularly like the walnuts.
