mrsm_jones
I took these girls on from someone else with the best of intentions, but it just hasn't worked out with the other girls. They are beautiful little ladies, sweet natured and very tame. Excellent garden pets, although hopeless if you're wanting eggs! They're not looking their best at the mo, due to a big moult, feathers everywhere! Aged approx 2 years I believe. If anyone can take these 2 little cuties, I would be a very happy chickeny-mummy again
Scramble
Sorry I can't help, but I love pekins! How tempting the offer is... I'm sure someone can come up with a home for them. Good luck finding them a new home x

mrsm_jones
Yep. A very famous quarry apparently. Can see into the quarry from the Point of Origin Monument.
Guest
Oooo Mrs MJ its sent a shiver down my spine... Went to the Kemnay website and looked at some of the Milnes (my maiden name) think we must have gone there to visit a relative. My great Auntie Mary was the daughter of George Milne of Mill O'Noth in Rhynie and he worked at Leith Hall. I think one of his children was called Arthur, and I certainly had an Auntie Maggie that I visited while we were up there, Could they have been the bakers in Kemnay I wonder...?
