little cluckers
I've managed to catch the laryngitis virus thats going about at the minute and I haven't been able to manage any more than a whisper for 4 days now! The kids are loving it, my ES keeps laughing at me, my MS just keeps saying 'what mum? you'll have to speak up, i can't hear you!' and my twins whisper back to me which is very cute. I think they think I'm being really secretive! The only trouble is the only way to make myself heard is to whistle so I sound like a shepherd directing his sheepdog.... now thats an idea maybe I could teach the dog to communicate for me? Anyone else got it? There seem to be lots around here, it's quite funny when you hear someone else huskily whispering - it's like being a member of a strange club! Egluntyne
Him Indoors always loses his voice if there are any bugs doing the rounds. Bliss. I hope you are soon over it.
Ain't Nobody Here
You poor thing . Just make sure you keep it quiet (hee hee) when you get your voice back - then you'll suddenly be able to let rip and scare them silly .
little cluckers
ANH - you are wicked- but I love it I will definitely recover in secret and then use it to my advantage when they're least expecting it - what a great idea! Thank you for your well wishes but I actually don't feel that bad just a bit sore (the port helped freddie - sipped of course ahem!), it's just so frustrating
