jools+6 Posted September 25, 2008 Share Posted September 25, 2008 hubby has suggested buying the girls a garden hut ... now i thought of this to start with but then decided ... if it was that easy why doesnt everyone do it . now however after 4 months my wooden piece of nonsense that cost a fortune is in serious decline . the girls are out free ranging all day so only sleep , lay and eat in the house and run we have . if we are out the hut would be big enough for them to potter in until we got home . a couple of roosting bars added and perhaps another floor , making sure it had a window that would open a little .... opinions please because the horrid house is driving me nuts wish i'd never bought the thing my auntie mo adapted the garage for her lot and they were happy as larry ) g*d im thick . and the bigger the hut , the more girls i can "adopt " ... using my inferior house and run as an extension ... dickied up of course Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I thought about a shed too...for chicks!!! however only have eglu with 3 hens already..(so I'd best not....although I do keep daydreaming about lots more chickens) best of luck... darn shocking that your other house has only lasted 4 months????
