well! today was our first 6-egg-day. the biggest was Meringue's at 100g (gotta be a double-yolker), and the smallest was one of the Silkies, dont know whether Muffin or Crumpet - the first from either of them anyway, weighing in at 30g. I am

obviously I shall spend the rest of the day looking to see if the other Silkie has been a clever girl too. I'm really surprised, they are only just coming up to 24 weeks and I thought I'd have to wait another 6 weeks or so. wonder if Apricot turning out to be a cockerel has anything to do with it?

Well done your girls! I love six-egg days - for me it's a full house and there's a real feeling of achievement in filling a whole box for someone in one go
