nikplus
We've got three hens in total, all of about laying age (25 weeks), but I'm a bit confused as to who is and who isn't laying. We get two eggs a day, every day, and they always look the same - one dark and one light, which implies they are being laid by the same two birds. But the lack of variation in numbers is strange. If all three are laying, then we should occasionally get a day with three eggs. But if only two are laying, we should get some days when there is just one or no eggs laid. So, with three chucks, and two eggs appearing every day, how many do you reckon are laying? Nik
