Phosphorus
My two broody hens are finally off broody strike I am going to worm my girls tomorrow with Flubenvet. Just wondered, given that they are probably low on weight a bit from sitting in the nesting box for 21 days and a bit, is it okay to go ahead and worm them now. I don't want to put them through a bit of stress with Flubenvet if they are already stressed from being broody and now back to norm!!! Is it okay to worm straight after broody hen loses interest in eggs - this might be an obvious to most of you, but have never had broodies or wormed before. Also is there a recommended something that I should give after the week of Flubenvet? Thanks again all you wise ones out there.
Ain't Nobody Here
As far as I know, Flubenvetting isn't a big deal for them . (Or maybe I've just always assumed that ).
Phosphorus
Brilliant that was the answer I was after. Going to mix up a job lot of layers and Flub today and start tomorrow then. Really handy as I won't have to worry about giving away eggs from my exbroody pair as they probably won't start to lay again until after a few weeks. I know there isn't an egg withdrawal period for us but didn't want to sell or give away whilst we were dosing.
