Kit
we are on hols for 2 weeks and my cleaners are staying here most of the time. when they are not staying they will be here in the morning between 8am and 9.00am. Would you advise closing eglu door at night due to wet cold weather and leave them locked in til cleaners arrive or would you leave door open at night? Cheers Kit
moomin
I would leave the door open just in case they forget to open it! As chicken owners we are used to opening the door each day but anyone not used to the routine may forget!
BooBoo
They will be absoultely fine with the weather at the moment. I wouldn't even consider shutting the door until it gets much colder at night. If you don't want them getting wet cover the run with an old shower curtain - this will also reduce drafts. And as Moomin said, I would worry more about the cleaners leaving them shut it too long
