Patridge bantam chicken poorly foot?

Hi,

 

our chickens arrived yesterday afternoon and have settled in really well. As my better half Katyed has mentioned in her post a fair amount of noise was made on their arrival, followed by us stood in the garden staring at them thinking 'Oh God, what if they do that all the time?' Luckily they stopped quite quickly, shortly after they'd scared away the inquisitive cats actually.

 

The big news is that shortly after letting them out this morning Elinborg went back inside for some time. I went out to check a little later and there it was!! Our first egg! It's a teeny one but an egg none the less.

 

This news also gives me a chance to try out the new signature.

Very exciting.. Take a piccie and look at in a few months time, remember the excitement of the first egg!.. I've got two newies, but 5 weeks later and still waiting.. any day now hopefully.
