fluffyfeet
Yay - I was in the middle of cleaning out the girls run when I happened to notice just inside the entrance was a perfect little cream coloured egg. Poppy, my cuckoo pekin appeared to be trying to play football with it - she hasn't laid anything since moulting and hasn't really settled since the fox took her friends. Perhaps she'll get the idea again now. I'd forgotten how dinky their first eggs are, or what an absolute pleasure it is to find one. I think it is from Rosie, who appears to be the eldest of my new Lavender Pekins (reddest comb) - other 2 not named yet. It's nice to have somewhere to share news like this - non-chicken people just don't understand. Dawn
