Fig question.

Recommended Posts

I only ever had a small, immature fig tree in a pot....I think it was 3 years or so when we moved and left it behind, but it did lose it's leaves in the Autumn, so much so that each year I thought it was dead and prepared to give up on it...but then the leaves grew back. Never got any ripe fruit of it though, so it might not have been the healthiest fig tree around :oops:

mine is in a dustbin in the polytunnel at the moment, I had lots of figs this year but none ripened enough to eat, the year before the squirrels got the lot! :x I'm looking forward to a better crop next season - yes figs do loose their leaves, I have 3 cuttings doing well in my verranda
