Hi Grace, my chooks seem nice and toasty once they've gone to bed and I leave the cube door open most of the year. You won't regret having a cube after a wooden house they're just so much easier to look after and you girls will have plenty of room.

They are very warm....double insulation and all that. Have a look at the website for specific information.

I kept a weather station thermometer in my eglu last winter to monitor the temp and even though it was cold outside the inside temp of the Eglu was a few degrees higher than outside. So the answer to the question, yes they are warm (in winter) and cool in the summer.

My little monsters always feel nice and warm to touch when they come out of their in the morning, and then they run round complaining about how cold it is outside
