mictogirl
Just a quickie, I'm stocking up on my chicken stuff in preparation - and thanks to those who suggested B&Q for wood chips, I got some today (though there weren't many bags left, chicken keepers on the increase?? ) I went to my local equine and pet feed place and was pleased to find they sold chicken food too - I got a 20kg sack of layers pellets, a 20kg sack of mixed corn and he threw in a small bag of poultry grit, all that for £15. Sound about right? I'd like to carry on using this place since it's small and local, but only if I'm not getting ripped off! Thanks in advance, I'm getting so excited about getting the chickens now
Steve.
Sounds good value! Just check that it's all in date. I hope you live near me!
Egluntyne
That sounds a realistic price.
Ain't Nobody Here
That sounds OK. I think I pay about £6 or £7 for my feed, probably the same for corn and so with your grit thrown in, I'm sure that's reasonable. A small, local supplier is worth having .
