I have now ironed every shirt in my wardrobe, just in case, and still can't decide. I feel like a little kid having their first day at school, don't know why, it's my 6th new job over the past 15 years

hey Bassett, how did it go? Hope good and it flew by

 

Mine was ok, it is such a different environment to what I'm used to - they are all professional and take it seriously, which is good considering there is no margin for error. There was a distinct lack of sarcasm or joking in my first team meeting which will take a bt of getting used to They were very well organised, had my laptop and blackberry set up - do you know the worst thing?? I can't access any interactive sites on the network, so no Omlet all day

Well done on surviving your first day! How did today go? They sound a very efficient bunch at your new company.

 

My week has been good so far, I'm being gently eased into the role as I have a handover all this week, the lady I'm replacing doesn't leave until Friday. I'm now nervous about next Monday when I'll be left to cope alone!!
