HI all IM worming my chooks with flubenvet using the grape method, we are on day two and I have just poped out to give my girls thier grapes, when they got in to a bit of a s"Ooops, word censored!", two of the chickens had Ambers does, so Amber didnt get any but the others ened up with one and half grape each.......... not quite sure what to do now,????

 

also not sure if im giving too much or not enough I am dipping one half of the grape in powder, Is that ok, its my first time!!

This is why I always add it to the food....I have never yet managed to dole them out one per hen.

I find the grape method hard too, & you always end up with bitten fingers

I'm with Egluntine on this one as have also tried the grape method and gave up as some are just more adept at nicking each other's . I add it to their food and also add in some Cod Liver Oil in a drizzle as I mix up a batch so it doesn't end up as dust at the bottom of the grub. I use one of those cheap old fashions clear ketchup bottles to keep my Cod Liver Oil in as its so much easier to add in a stream that way and you can squeeze it in one handed as you mix.
