Ain't Nobody Here
As some of you will be aware, Maisie laid the smallest egg ever last week. My dilemma now is what do I do with it ? It's a bit small to crack open (although I do wonder what's inside!) and too small to blow (I think!). Will it go off if I just keep it ? mostin
I would try to blow it, you've got nothing to loose as it will just smell won't it if you keep it otherwise?
Snowy
You need to get one of those clear resin paperweight casting kits and mount it in resin! Would make a lovely paperweight
HENthusiastic
Oh my word. Is that really an egg? I think I'd have to try to crack it open. Or write to the Guinness book of records! See if you can get the world record for the smallest fried egg!
Ain't Nobody Here
It is indeed an egg . I have actually taken the plunge and blown it . A tiny bit of shell came away when I put the needle away but it blew really easily - some ordinary looking white came out. I was wondering about the Guinness Book of Records too . I can't find any smaller eggs mentioned on the internet!
Janty
It might be a fart egg. My little Nugget often lays small eggs which are fart eggs (no yolk).
Egluntyne
I've herd them referred to as Cockerels eggs. 'Appen the girls have had a gentleman caller.
Ain't Nobody Here
It was spotted in the poo tray by one of my Hen Party attendees and I was quite proud of myself that I could tell them what it was - ie a "fart egg" . I'm hoping they were impressed .

Ain't Nobody Here
Only if you're posh . (Just joking, I think they can be called either!)
HENthusiastic
So its a fart egg, or a cockrels egg. Whats the definition then, a teeny egg thats just got white in it. Or any sized egg with just white in it?
blackgold
I would have to keep it. We are keeping the shell from our first egg.Havent decided what to do with it yet though. Any ideas?
